A Letter from Liberty Regarding COVID-19:
Dear Customer:
Thank you for entrusting Liberty Termite and Pest Control Inc, with the health and well being of your home or business. As we work together as a community and nation to better understand and mitigate the spread of the novel Coronavirus, we are all being asked to adhere to new guidelines and to do our best to practice social distancing.
Please know that as protectors of public health, food and property, we take our role in safeguarding your quality of life very seriously. Pest control professionals are responsible for protecting against rodents, insects, arachnids and other animals that can damage property and threaten people’s health through the spread of disease and bacteria, in addition to inflicting painful bites and stings. Our critical services extend into people’s homes and businesses, as well as major commercial operations such as healthcare facilities, food processing facilities and more.
We strongly encourage everyone to follow the advice set forth by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our government leaders. As an organization, we are taking additional measures to ensure we provide the best level of protection for both our customers and our employees. For more information on the steps we’re taking, please see the CDC’s guidance for businesses.
This letter also serves to inform you that as of March 23, 2020, we will be operating on a normal service schedule, unless our customer specifies otherwise.
If you have questions about your routine service or are experiencing a pest control problem please call 309-699-9332 or 309-663-7471. We will do our best to provide you with the level of service and satisfaction you’ve come to expect from Liberty Termite and Pest Control Inc.
Thank you again for your continued trust and we wish you safety, health and peace during this difficult and unprecedented time. We will all get through this together.
Sincerely,
Kevin and Tami Meischner
Curious if pest control materials are safe?
Especially if you have children or pets, you may wonder about the safety of pest control materials. Let us set your mind at ease: Yes, we can treat your pest problem safely.
In fact, because some pests carry disease, eliminating them from your home as quickly as possible is important to the health and safety of everyone in your family, including your furry family members. Rodents and roaches carry disease while bees and wasps present a stinging hazard. The stings are painful and can be life-threatening to allergic individuals.
We’re Trained and Certified
Our state-certified service technicians are extensively trained and take continuing education provided by the Illinois Pest Control Association and approved by the Illinois Department of Public Health. This allows them to stay up to date with safety procedures on the handling and application of EPA-approved materials around your home or office. We are always learning more and educating ourselves on the latest technologies and practices.
We’re Green!
We are proud that the East Peoria Chamber of Commerce named us the Green Company of the year in 2015.
Safe Solutions
The active ingredient in the Sentricon® System, which we use to eradicate termites, is noviflumuron. It is designed specifically to disrupt the molting process that occurs only in insects and closely related organisms. The quantity of active ingredient in each bait station is so small that a dog would need to ingest approximately 200 of the bait station inserts — which is simply impossible — before becoming sick.
Chemical-free Options
For those who desire a non-chemical approach to pest control, other options are available for certain pests. Give us a call and we will work with you to find the pest control solution of your choice.
